1. Our approach
Cookies are only one kind of browser storage. Similar rules can apply to technologies such as local storage and session storage. This policy describes the storage Li currently uses in the browser.
Li does not use this technology to create advertising profiles, follow people across websites, or measure browsing behaviour through a third-party analytics platform.
2. What Li uses
| Technology | Purpose | Duration | Why it is used |
|---|---|---|---|
| Li/PHP session cookie | Maintains the secure session needed for sign-in, account access, CSRF protection and requested account/Recovery actions. | Session-based unless the server/browser configuration requires otherwise. | Necessary to operate and secure the service requested by the user. |
Local browser storageli-appearance / equivalent appearance key | Remembers the appearance/theme choice made on Li so the interface can use that preference on later pages or visits. | Persists until changed or cleared in the browser. | Used only to adapt Li's appearance to the user's chosen preference. |
| Session browser storage | Some Li interface code temporarily stores short-lived page/session state used by the interface. | Normally cleared when the browser tab/session ends. | Used to provide the requested interface functionality; not for analytics or advertising. |
Administrative tools use equivalent first-party session and appearance storage for authorised LogistiCarl Systems administration. Those tools are not public analytics systems.
3. Appearance preference
If you choose an appearance or theme, Li may remember that choice in local browser storage. The value describes the interface preference; it is not used to identify you for advertising or to build a profile of your browsing.
You can remove this preference using your browser's site-data controls. Li will then return to its default/system appearance until you make another choice.
4. Third-party services
Li uses Stripe when you choose to make a payment. Stripe operates its own payment environment and may use cookies or similar technology necessary to provide, secure and prevent fraud on that payment service. Stripe's handling of information within its service is governed by its own privacy and technology notices.
Li does not embed third-party analytics or advertising trackers into the service.
5. Your browser controls
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies and other site data. Blocking storage that is necessary for authentication or security may prevent sign-in, checkout or other requested Li functions from working correctly.
There is no “accept analytics” control on Li because Li does not currently set analytics or advertising storage that requires such a choice.
6. Changes to this policy
If Li's use of browser storage changes, we will update this policy. If we introduce a technology that requires consent, we will not rely on this policy as a substitute for that consent and will provide an appropriate choice before using it where required.
